Terms of Service
The rules and agreement that govern your use of ArcadeOn Games.
Last updated: July 24, 2026
Overview
ArcadeOn Games is a free-to-play social gaming platform operated by ArcadeOn Studios and supported by advertising and optional in-game purchases. These Terms of Service apply to the website, dashboard, store, season pass, leaderboards, social features (such as following other players, friends leaderboards, and Ghost Duels), and all currently available games and features. Our games include Match·On, Glade Runner, Iron Siege and Word Forge, and we add new titles, seasons, and events over time. ArcadeOn is not a gambling service. Some features — such as Ghost Duels — let you stake in-game coins on a skill-based contest with another player, but outcomes are determined by player skill rather than chance, the only thing at stake is virtual coins that have no cash value, and you can never win, withdraw, or cash out real money — even where coins were bought with real money. There is no betting on chance and no cash prizes anywhere on the platform.
Eligibility and account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create or use an ArcadeOn account.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.
Gameplay systems and platform features
- We store gameplay data such as sessions, scores, streaks, progression, and cosmetic unlocks.
- Daily streaks and level rewards are generated automatically and can only be claimed when their requirements are met.
- Leaderboards and Ghost Duel results are based on recorded gameplay and can be recalculated or reviewed to preserve fairness.
- Ranked leaderboards are pure skill: power-ups and other purchases never affect your ranked position — you cannot buy your way up the board.
- Social features let you follow other players, compare scores on friends and global leaderboards, and challenge players you follow to Ghost Duels. Your username, avatar, level, and scores may be visible to other players on these leaderboards, in duels, and on your public profile — do not use information you want kept private as your username.
- Power-ups, seasons, events, rewards, and balancing values are managed through our CMS and may change over time.
- We may update, disable, or remove features to maintain security, stability, or fairness.
Ghost Duels and player competitions
- Ghost Duels are optional, skill-based one-versus-one contests between you and a player you follow. They are decided by player skill, never by chance.
- A duel runs asynchronously: you play a run on content generated from a server-issued seed, and your inputs are recorded as a "ghost". Your opponent then plays the same seeded content with your ghost replayed alongside them, and the higher score wins.
- Both players stake an equal amount of in-game coins to enter a duel. The combined stake forms a pot, and the winner receives the pot. In-game coins have no cash value, can never be cashed out, and a duel can never pay out real money — so a Ghost Duel is a skill competition for virtual coins, not gambling, betting, or a game of chance.
- Duels are pure skill: power-ups and other purchases are disabled in duels and never affect the outcome. You cannot buy an advantage in a duel.
- If a duel ends in a tie, both stakes are returned. If a challenge is declined, expires unanswered, or cannot be validated (for example after a game update changes how a run is scored), the relevant stakes are refunded.
- We issue the duel seed, and recorded runs are retained so results can be reviewed for fairness. Submitting falsified scores or recordings, or otherwise manipulating a duel, is prohibited and may result in voided duels, reversed coin movements, and account action.
Virtual currency, wallet, and digital items
- Coins, power-ups, cosmetics, and other in-game items are virtual items with no cash value.
- Virtual items are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for real money, and coins cannot be withdrawn or cashed out.
- Coins are earned for free through play, daily rewards, streaks, and levelling up, and may also be purchased with real money as an optional top-up. However they are obtained, coins have no cash value, can only be used within ArcadeOn Games, and can never be withdrawn or cashed out.
- Power-ups, season passes, cosmetics, and other in-game features may deduct coins from your wallet according to feature rules.
- Coins may be staked to enter optional Ghost Duels, with the winner receiving the combined pot of in-game coins. As with all coins, staked and pot coins have no cash value and can never be cashed out; an unresolved, tied, declined, or voided duel returns the relevant stakes.
- We may reverse or adjust balances and rewards linked to exploits, fraud, abuse, or technical correction.
Purchases and subscriptions
- Optional paid memberships, subscriptions, and coin purchases are processed by Stripe or equivalent payment processors.
- Optional coin packs let you top up your wallet with real money. Purchased coins are a convenience only and never a competitive advantage — power-ups bought with coins are disabled in ranked play — and, like all coins, they have no cash value. A one-time bonus may apply to a first purchase.
- Real-money purchases unlock optional features such as a premium season pass or extra coins — they never grant a competitive advantage on ranked leaderboards.
- We do not store full payment card details.
- Subscription products renew automatically unless canceled through your billing settings.
- Pricing, package contents, and availability may change for future transactions.
- Purchases are generally final except where refunds are required by law. How refunds, cancellations, and app-store purchases are handled is set out in our Refund Policy.
Advertising
ArcadeOn Games is free to play and supported by advertising. We display ads through Google AdSense on the website and Google AdMob in our mobile app, and these ads may be personalized based on your activity. How advertising data is collected and used, and the controls available to you, are described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Ads appear in several placements across the platform:
- In-content and game-over ads shown around and between games.
- Side-rail ads — vertical (skyscraper) banners that flank games on wider desktop screens, kept a policy-safe distance from the game area.
- Mobile anchor ads — a banner pinned at the bottom of the screen on narrower devices, in a reserved strip that does not overlap the game.
- Rewarded ads — optional, opt-in video ads you can choose to watch (for example to earn extra in-game coins or continue a run). Coins granted on completion are virtual, have no cash value, and are credited only when the ad is verifiably completed; they never affect ranked position or Ghost Duel outcomes.
The following also apply:
- Advertising content is provided by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for the products, services, or websites promoted in ads, and the display of an ad is not an endorsement.
- You agree not to interfere with, hide, automate clicks on, generate fraudulent impressions of, or otherwise manipulate ads or ad delivery, including rewarded ads.
- Advertising does not influence scoring, ranked position, or Ghost Duel outcomes — gameplay remains pure skill, and you cannot gain or lose a competitive advantage through ads.
User-generated games
ArcadeOn hosts community games submitted by creators alongside our first-party titles. If you submit or publish a game, you also agree to our Creator Agreement and Content Policy, which govern eligibility, the licence you grant, your warranties, prohibited content, review and removal, and the creator ad-revenue-share program. Community games are reviewed before publishing and may be rejected or removed at any time. Copyright complaints about hosted content are handled under our Copyright / DMCA Policy. Community game landing and play pages carry advertising, and a share of the resulting ad revenue may be paid to the game's creator under the Creator Agreement.
Email and service communications
- We send operational emails related to account security, purchases, subscriptions, and platform operations.
- Feature emails may include reward and season notifications.
- You are responsible for maintaining a valid email address on your account.
- If you enable push notifications, we may send them to your browser or device for the categories you opt into (such as Ghost Duels, leaderboards, deals, new games, and updates). Push notifications are optional and can be turned off per category, per device, or in your browser/device settings.
Fair play and prohibited activity
You agree not to:
- Cheat, script, bot, automate, or manipulate gameplay outcomes or scores.
- Falsify, tamper with, or manipulate Ghost Duel scores, recordings, or outcomes.
- Exploit bugs, duplicate rewards, or abuse wallets, power-ups, seasons, leaderboards, duels, or reward systems.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with platform APIs or infrastructure.
- Manipulate, automate, defraud, or interfere with advertising or ad delivery, including generating artificial impressions or clicks.
- Harass other users, impersonate staff, or use abusive/offensive conduct in community spaces.
Suspension and termination
We may limit, suspend, or terminate accounts to protect users and platform integrity, including for Terms violations, fraud, or abuse. You may delete your account from profile settings, subject to applicable retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy.
Service availability and disclaimers
ArcadeOn Games is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect uptime, or error-free operation in every environment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, ArcadeOn Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to use of the platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect platform updates, legal requirements, or feature changes. Continued use of ArcadeOn after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, and we may record your acceptance (for example the version and date you agreed to).
Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, except that nothing in this section removes any protection or right of action available to you under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country in which you live.
